digital drawing 01

Image
This time i have these digitally created berries. Don't ask the name as I just picked colours and tried blending to get a fruit. If you find any resemblance to any do share. 🙂 I am loving this tiring drawing style at the moment. Lets see what happens next... As for todays Quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” ―Theodore Roosevelt.

Gratitude

Source "As Time Flies" There are times when someone tries to guide us but we feel as though we are under scrutiny. As long as the person is not harsh or negative we should be happy to have a friend like that. Who has time to rectify things in this busy world? At least, I consider such well-wishers around me as my friends. All my friends in this virtual world who have guided me some time or rectified a mistake I thank them today. Do you stop to thank that person who picks up scattered things for you while you are juggling with your shopping bags or you just gather your things, turn around, and walk away? Most of us would go with the former, right. I have come across people who ignore the helping hands as if they do not exist. Well, dear friend, you may be on this side of the fence but some day you might be on the other side and maybe then, you will understand how it feels. The worth of anything is realized only when it is not there with us. Showing gratitude does no

Eternal

Image
photo by Caroline Knopf This week the letter is 'E' and I dabble in the Fiction. Open to critiques! While she stood by the waters, the silence echoed the story of her life. After five years of companionship that faced the turbulences of life to triumph over the enemy and the soul, he ditched her for death. The dove-eyed lass with a feeble body took over the reigns of the sea and the cause of the people – his people and now her children. The longing for him never left her but the love he had bestowed upon her during that short spell proved deeper than the sea. His body had left her 25 years ago but the soul he left behind for her – his eternal love. Linking to Mag 305

While I flew with the Flu

Image
Source As good, as it can get things are improving on this side as the family is recuperating from the ugly flu. It is such a dreaded disease. All the joints, bones, and muscles pray for compassion and the nerves are a wreck. You wonder if at all you would have grasped that a little virus could control your life for almost a week. Pray if only you had listened to the clattery sounds of your bones and the whizzing sirens that shook your chest. If only, but, then it is too late. To add salt to your open wounds the entire family takes a corner each of the house. Oh God, show some mercy!   Promise I shall listen to the silent rants of my body next time. This is the thought that never leaves you until you leave the bed. Afterwards, Well “I am a shoemaker” Promise, what is that? The deadly cold is probably the taken most casually but the effects it has on the body are hard hitting! "I hate you" is all I  say to the Flu!
