Translate 'As Time Flies'

June 2, 2015

I shall survive...

Gloomy heart
Under dark skies,
Stares at hovering reflection
In deep waters
Awaiting high tides.

Waves ruffle the silver
Pretending to unsettle
Form so calm,
Knowing deep inside
Shiny streak shall
Lose no charm.

Glistening high up
Overpowering murky clouds
Reveals the hidden trail
Lost over – time
I shall survive.

  1. Very nicely done. I really enjoyed that first stanza, it flowed so well in my head.
