Games that Mind Plays

Feeling lonely in her den, she took to the roads bearing the brunt of the scorching heat, as she needed a breath of fresh air.
She strolled leisurely until she perceived dark footsteps behind her.…

With a brain exposed to an over dose of thrillers, the passage ahead, with boring music blaring from one of the windows supplemented her fears.

Judging her end was near; she took a quick start and hid herself until she could pounce on the women haters; however, her trail of thoughts bears unexpected interruption –

“Hey Lady, What’s Cooking?” asked the policeman, patting her frail shoulder.

  8. Love the twist at the end. Too scary to walk alone and hear someone behind you. I'd think the same too!

    1. Hey Yolanda! Welcome.
It is scary especially, when we have just switched from the world created in a book to the real world. Brain starts over analyzing the situations.
