Joker, Juggler, and Life

One-day life visited the circus to find itself entrapped in an act. A Joker stood juggling the colorful balls at the edge of a plank raised quite high for a common person.

The colored balls followed a circular path, while the once at the top half  were prominent each time a ball was lost in his hand; however the act was continuous and fast so it never seemed to hide.

Life thought –

I also rise at times while there are moments when I touch rock bottom but then I give up and lose the momentum to carry on and it is there that the whole act falls apart.  Life too is about moving forward with changes and memories together.

Then the gaze shifted to the juggler who in spite of standing at the edge, did not lose a ball or get jittery.

Life thought –

Maybe it is when I tend to lose faith in myself that things start turning ugly; the fear of falling pulls us down.

As for the joker, he was a seasoned performer and received a thunderous applaud for this act. The noise probably hid the thumping of his heart that was relieved after a perfect performance. He looked either tired or affected by this monotonous routine, which he had probably been following since years. Whether he was happy or sad he had to put up that senile for others.

Life thought

I may be monotonous at times but then if someone really wishes they can break that monotony with newer option however in case they are unable to they should not sulk or hate me instead keep their eyes on the outcomes and keep moving on."

If life is a circus, learn to live like this joker bringing smiles around, juggling responsibilities, duties, and hobbies; setting an example that no matter how repetitive things get you are unique for you chose to carry on in spite of reaching a brink at some point in your life.

You are special as you have a chance to live, make the most of it!

  1. To me... life indeed is like a circus, i consider it a challenge... Although sometimes so intensly tired that 'given-up' looks very appealing.. i pick up the peaces and stand up to go forward... how difficult it sometimes is and how impossible it seems.... i cherish the good memories and experiences and they give me the strenght i need to go on

  10. Good analogy for life. The jugglers balls are like the chores with which we juggle in our daily lives,
