Attitude

Thinking myself imperfect, I tried to impress people who talked behind my back.

Lame excuses poured to satisfy their fancy heads.

Little I realized how harrowing the heart found it as I kept on stabbing my soul trying to reinvent myself.

Until one day when, the mirror showed me the true world for I felt someone else was looking back at me as I stared at my reflection.

  7. Self perception is a two way street - how we look at ourselves how we think people look at us..sometimes seeing what is isn't as bad as we fear perhaps? It is a long process and hard but hopefully it helps in the end
