She is an ideal woman. Other women are jealous of her and men want their sisters and wives to be like her.

A perfect blend of daughter, sister, wife, and mother she had everything in the perfect state except her real soul.

She had lost it long ago while trying to please others and all she remembered now was a faint idea of its existence.

Is it really a good thing to change yourself for others and eventually lose your identity?

This post is a part of the A to Z Challenge 2016. Today's letter is E.

  1. Living to please others can do that. We had a person like this in our church, we always said she was so perfect that if we weren't church people we'd have to hate her. She was very busy pleasing others, and i think she did lose herself.
