digital drawing 01

This time i have these digitally created berries. Don't ask the name as I just picked colours and tried blending to get a fruit. If you find any resemblance to any do share. 🙂 I am loving this tiring drawing style at the moment. Lets see what happens next... As for todays Quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” ―Theodore Roosevelt.

Chasing the Sunset

Even though it has been years since he is gone, still her eyes keep wandering towards the rising and the setting sun every day of the year.

She never leaves her house; “what if he comes in my absence?” is her fear.

Today the milkman saw her in the morning, the paperboy found her near the station strolling and the gypsy woman said she saw her waving a paper, crying with an awkward smile.

The man on the bicycle heard her mumble; she had his letter and intended to pursue the sun until it set.

Pity they felt for her, for the date on letter was before his death but blind in love and tired by waiting she had found her rescue in the sunset.

She probably will be in his arms very soon or else you may find her tracking the sun until the moon rises.

I love the way you weave the words. The image of the woman through the words of those around her. I wonder what she is thinking and feeling. Poignant story.

    1. Thanks for the compliment Val. Sometimes life makes even the wisest people ignorant as none wishes to see the ugly or think bad about people close to them.
