digital drawing 01

This time i have these digitally created berries. Don't ask the name as I just picked colours and tried blending to get a fruit. If you find any resemblance to any do share. 🙂 I am loving this tiring drawing style at the moment. Lets see what happens next... As for todays Quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” ―Theodore Roosevelt.

Gratitude

thank you note
Source "As Time Flies"
There are times when someone tries to guide us but we feel as though we are under scrutiny. As long as the person is not harsh or negative we should be happy to have a friend like that. Who has time to rectify things in this busy world? At least, I consider such well-wishers around me as my friends. All my friends in this virtual world who have guided me some time or rectified a mistake I thank them today.

Do you stop to thank that person who picks up scattered things for you while you are juggling with your shopping bags or you just gather your things, turn around, and walk away? Most of us would go with the former, right.

I have come across people who ignore the helping hands as if they do not exist. Well, dear friend, you may be on this side of the fence but some day you might be on the other side and maybe then, you will understand how it feels. The worth of anything is realized only when it is not there with us. Showing gratitude does not make a person small or mean that the person is meek. It is a virtue of those people who fully believe in themselves and do not wither in the harsh reality of the world.

While we talk of gratitude, it does not mean compensating. Materialism should not form the base for reciprocation; sometimes such acts undermine the value of the good deeds.

"A small THANK YOU with a BIG SMILE can work wonders too."

Humanity needs compassion to move ahead in harmony.

  9. I always thank people who help me. Two months ago I fell, broke my wrist and got an enormous wound on my right leg. The latter is still not healed. All my neighbours came to help me, doing the shopping for instance, and putting the garbage container on the street.
    I am very grateful.
    Have a great weekend,
