digital drawing 01

This time i have these digitally created berries. Don't ask the name as I just picked colours and tried blending to get a fruit. If you find any resemblance to any do share. 🙂 I am loving this tiring drawing style at the moment. Lets see what happens next... As for todays Quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” ―Theodore Roosevelt.

While I flew with the Flu

As good, as it can get things are improving on this side as the family is recuperating from the ugly flu. It is such a dreaded disease. All the joints, bones, and muscles pray for compassion and the nerves are a wreck. You wonder if at all you would have grasped that a little virus could control your life for almost a week.

Pray if only you had listened to the clattery sounds of your bones and the whizzing sirens that shook your chest. If only, but, then it is too late. To add salt to your open wounds the entire family takes a corner each of the house.

Oh God, show some mercy!   Promise I shall listen to the silent rants of my body next time. This is the thought that never leaves you until you leave the bed. Afterwards, Well “I am a shoemaker” Promise, what is that?

The deadly cold is probably the taken most casually but the effects it has on the body are hard hitting!

"I hate you" is all I  say to the Flu!

  4. I dread flu when it happens to me, husband or my son. For me, it means broken body, temperature but no rest. For husband, it means yells on a death bed. For son, it means sleepless nights for me while he cries when temperature soars high and the hardship of getting the medicine down his throat.
Thank you for visiting my Monday Musings post and sharing an important part of your life with me even when you have not been feeling well. Wishing you and your family speedy recovery. Get well soon.
