digital drawing 01
This time i have these digitally created berries. Don't ask the name as I just picked colours and tried blending to get a fruit. If you find any resemblance to any do share. 🙂 I am loving this tiring drawing style at the moment. Lets see what happens next... As for todays Quote "Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” ―Theodore Roosevelt.
Oh dear...

DeleteSorry, you're going to have to help me out. Was the man out of his mind? Is Rosie upset that destiny played a trick on her by matching her up with a crazy guy? I'm not sure what's going on here.
ReplyDeleteWell, you are exactly on the right track. :)
DeleteAdam seems to have a few problems...
ReplyDeleteYes he does but, he has a strong support too.
DeleteDear Ira,
ReplyDeleteSounds like Adam's delusional. Ouch.
Shalom,
Rochelle
Pity, but that seems so...
DeleteNice story. Good that she has not given up hope and still loves her husband who does not appear to be in the pink of health.
ReplyDeleteIt is Love when it is unconditional.
DeleteLooks like he hurt someone, and could not get over it.
ReplyDeleteThere has to be some angle that brought him to this state. Actually, this story can have a prequel to it...
DeleteA man lost inside himself. So sad.
ReplyDeleteSuch people can be helped to survive. What actually goes inside them, who knows?
DeleteTherapist anyone? Sounds like he's hurting, himself and others. Good take on the word. Mine seems so shallow now!
ReplyDeleteSad state of life . Well, he must be under some doctor's supervision.
DeleteAlso, I read the SSS stories so can firmly say I have yet to reach the level of other blogmates.
It’s not easy to stay with the person who has lost the essense of self, caretaking takes a lot out of you,
ReplyDeleteCaretakers are often forgotten in this scenario. It must be so tiring for them, both physically and mentally. They need an emotional and mental support too.
DeleteI can't imagine what that must be like. A sorrowful story indeed.

Such situations are always tough only the people going through it know the real pain.
DeleteThis looks like dementia to me, and I'm glad she still loves him. A sad and difficult situation.
ReplyDeleteIndeed a tough situation. The people who show courage and care at this time need support too.
DeleteA sad bittersweet tale. Rosy still sees the good inside her husband, even with his declining state. Nicely written.
ReplyDeleteThank you Brenda. Did not start the story on that note but somehow ended up with this plot. :)
DeleteI'm with those who see the harsh burden of care giving when a person has been torn loose from the tethers of reality by age or other infirmity.
ReplyDeleteThe lives of the caregivers is equally tough the only difference being that they are able to take care of their own chores and carry on with life...
DeleteSuch heartache, such anguish. To be robbed of a loving spouse by condition/disease. The other person in the marriage fueled by love and fond memories is hopefully receiving help and comfort from both friends and family. Not an easy life.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very touching Six Sentence.
I agree, not an easy life for either of them but then at least the heart will not be guilty of not trying. The relatives and friends are the support of the emotionally and physically drained caregiver.
DeleteLove sure gives strength! And it is love that she is with him during his tough time - when he has lost his senses...
ReplyDeleteI second your opinion. Hope keeps us all moving while love fuels it.
DeleteI think dementia may be the most devastating of all the old-age ills there are. Bless her for standing with him.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is and often the symptoms are not understood till late. Future may have some good news regarding the prognosis of this condition. Hopeful.
DeleteA well put together piece.

Thank you. :)
DeleteDementia? I read it another time after seeing the various comments. He sees a "naughty thing" bumping into him. What actually did you have in mind. In any case you made a strong story out of the photo prompt. Thanks from threefoldtwenty dotcom
ReplyDeleteWell, 'naughty' was a reference used in the way parents talk about their child who does not pay heed to their advice and has to bear consequences. When the mind plays tricks and thoughts get tangled a door can become naughty. :)
